How she overcomes the odds of not being able to listen, speak and manage to integrate into the society, to define the meaning of beauty by expressing it through make-up, and gain recognition from the masses
In our country, it’s not always easy to live with disabilities, because of the way people look at us and the less obvious ways that people discriminate against us. She wants to get rid of these prejudices. She wants to be a mentor who gives many people a reason to hope!
{A little about Stephy}
She was born in Singapore and graduated with a Diploma in Advanced Bridal Makeup and Hairstyling in Singapore (from Bologna based in Italy as certified makeup artist)
She has been in this field since 5 years, collaborated with a number of wonderful photographers, gorgeous brides, amazing models, glamorous celebrities and she loves every minute of it. On the road of pursuing her passion, she has collaborated with numerous renowned artists and great people along her line of work. She learned a lot from them and improved her skills. Due to the exposure and enriching experience, Stephy has been honoured with a Special Talent Award in 2014 personally presented by Ms Low Yen Ling, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Trade and Industry, to commemorate her efforts and workmanship. She was also honoured to receive the award of appreciation in 2015 as Stephy official makeup by main committee of Nanyang Technological University Pioneer Hall Event.
She initially established the underwater assignment commercials in Singapore after obtaining her scuba license, henceforth she is not just a certified makeup artist but she is also a certified diver too. Her other interest includes animals, photography, travelling and scuba diving.
Her styles can be very diversified, ranging from natural, drama and even vintage style where she can create a variation of different looks from them on her clients. However in general, Stephy’s preference would be a “clean and natural” Korean makeup style with some fusion of Japanese makeup style which is a growing trend among the new generation. Most important of all, Stephy’s tendency is to assure her clients with dazzling eyes matched with a alluring look that will turn crowds with a lovely smile.
Stephy has been deeply influenced by the range of Korean and Western hairstyles, allowing her to experiment these different styles to cater for the right occasion. She believes that a perfect bride has to be matched with a feminine chic hairdo, a worthy wedding dress, matched with the right hair accessories. Stephy also like to create romantic messy up-do, various braids; simple classic and elegant styles are that indescribable.

Beauty to me is not just external expression. It also exudes beauty from the inside, such as one’s personality and compassion. I stand to my beliefs that inner beauty and outer beauty should always go hand in hand.
